The taiwanese multinational company Apacer was founded in 1997 as a DRAM module supplier. In 1999, the company expanded its product range with mobile storage devices such as flash and USB products. In 2002 Apacer developed its firmware R & amp; D team to reposition the company as a digital storage application creator. Today Apacer develops and markets entertainment electronics, memory modules and digital storage hardware and software.
Apacer is headquartered in New Taipei, Taiwan. Other locations are Eindhoven, (Netherlands), Milpitas, (California), Shanghai (China), Tokyo (Japan) and Bangalore (India). In November 2010, Apacer joined the Bangladesh Computer Society (BCS) to distribute its products directly to the Bangladesh market.
