Panasonic Corporation is known to everyone for its household goods, consumer electronics and other innovative products. Founded in Japan in 1918 under the name Matsushita Denki Kigu Seisakujo, the company has a long and interesting history.

The first products were adapters and double sockets for incandescent lamps. In the 1930's, the company quickly grew through new articles and founded subsidiaries and holding companies. In 1939, Panasonic successfully carried out tests of television broadcasts. During the war, Panasonic continued to grow through military products, however, it was divided into several small businesses after completion.

It was only in the 50 years that Panasonic reunited to develop and distribute new products, especially housewares. Well-known subsidiaries of the company are JVC and Lumix as well as the partnership with Tesla.
